Fenytsa

Firebird

The Fighting style of the Nobles of the Wakenlyan, Fenytsa is a flowing style designed to show off the fencer’s superiority. Because so many nobles are trained in Fenysta, they may purchase this school for 20 points (30 if not native to Wakenlyan). While to many outsiders, this style makes the fencer only slightly less arrogant than Montaigne practitioners of Valroux, those nobles who say otherwise claim that the style tries to minimize bloodshed by convincing the opponent that the combat is futile. Needless to say, this argument doesn't go over well.

Basic Curriculum: Fencing, Courtier

Swordsman Knacks: Tagging, Riposte, Disarm

Apprentice

Naturally, the first task in demonstrating superiority over your opponent is not to get hit. Fenystan receive a free raise with Parry (Fending) and Footwork.

Journeyman

The second method of proving your superiority is to remove your opponent's weapon, permanently. Fenystan may perform a Weapon Break as outlined under Eisenfist in the Player's Guide.

Master

If the opponent still has not learned his mistake, then it is time to finish the game. Masters of Fenysta do not split Riposte before adding it to their rolls. They add their full level of Riposte to both defense and attack rolls.
